Formally code named the Nintendo NX (“X gon’ give it to ya” as games journalist and Kinda Funny co-founder Gregg Miller would proclaim), the name is now officially the Nintendo Switch and comes with many of the features rumoured in the leaked patent designs from the previous year. But is the X gon’ give it to ya after all? Nintendo released a trailer highlighting the most important features of the new console, how it works, merging the hand held and home console experiences into one device, and even a few previously unknown games coming to the Nintendo console. (Video sourced from https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f5uik5fgIaI ) Firstly the device is a hand held console is a screen that has two pieces attached to the side of it. With over 10 million views under its belt and over 100 thousand likes and only just over 2 thousand dislikes on the official 20 th Century Fox trailer on YouTube, it’s safe to say it was met by an overwhelmingly positive reception. The sombre and heavy tone of the lyrics and guitar notes pairs perfectly with this bleak and ravaged future for mutant kind that Logan has found himself in and shows great signs for the grounded

(Image sourced from http://www.nerdspan.com/70820-2/ ) The story of this crossover event, Night of the Monster Men, sees Gotham buckling up for a long night as a storm is rapidly approaching on the horizon. And if that wasn’t bad enough for the unluckiest town of Gotham, a sinister force decides to throw nightmarish monsters into the mix just to make everyone’s day abit harder. From an infecting fungi to a towering behemoth, it’s suffice to say that the Bat-family have a lot on their hands this night. One great

BurtonReviews Luke Cage: Sweet Christmas

Image
(Image sourced from http://emsmagazine.mx/marvels-luke-cage-estreno-netflix/ )   So far the Netflix Marvel shows have been mostly knocking it out of the park. Starting with the phenomenally dark and brutal first season of DareDevil, through to the emotionally charged Jessica Jones and then the less focused, but still amazingly shot and action packed second season of DareDevil. Now Luke Cage, the tank of a human with unbreakable skin, is the latest of these gritty street level heroes to join the front lines and defend New York’s citizens from the city’s violent criminal underground. (Video sourced from https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NHtdNnDasU8 )   The story of Luke Cage sees our titular character, played by Mike Colter, just wanting to live a normal, peaceful life. But as the greats always say: with great power, such as having bullet proof skin and the strength to smash through a brick wall without breaking a sweat, comes great responsibility. And when the crime wave i
